How to make a Plant based, Vegan, Fake Fish Fillet Sandwich!
Air Fried, Oil Free, Tarter Sauce Recipe, Healthy, Tofu, Plant based meat, fish alternative.
I was really craving a fish fillet sandwich like we used to get from Mc Donald's. Growing up we often had Fish Fillets on Fridays during lent since we would not eat meat on Fridays. It's funny looking back at how challenging it seemed to give up meat one day a week and here I am meat free for almost 4 whole years now. Anyway this craving came up and knowing that you can veganize almost anything I researched and came up with my take on the Fish Fillet Sandwich. The outcome was just like I remembered it to be. Ingredients :
Tofu Bread Crumbs- https://youtu.be/AXc9ttwl7Uk
Nori Sheets Vegan Mayo
Tarter Sauce:
Vegan Mayo Relish
How to make Fake Fish Fillet:
1) Drain and press tofu. Then Cut into square patties.
2) Cut the nori sheet into 3 strips and wrap one around each tofu patty. You can use some mayo to help the sheet stick.
3) Cover tofu slice first with mayo then coat with seasoned bread crumbs.
4) Air Fry on 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
5) Enjoy! On a roll, wrap or more creative ways!
How to make Tarter Sauce:
